This is a common question I get... what music do I use?
Yes, there are free music sites such as YouTube's built-in Audio Library (https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music) and you can find copyright free music (I personally like music from NoCopyrightSounds YouTube channel)... but songs from these places get overused and you need to spend hours searching for songs. So while these are great options, I'd recommend taking another step up.
Here is what I use for YouTube and why...
(And no I'm not promoted to say this):
I use Soundstripe ($139 per year) but you can use it for anything outside of YouTube... which is REALLY nice for my personal video business. Probably the top marketed websites for audio is Epidemic Sounds or Artlists... but Artlists is $199/yr and Epidemic Sounds is a whopping $180/$360/$1,800 per year depending on views.
